STITCH Golf Polo & Pullover Review: Elevate Your Golf Style!

In this post we are going to review the latest offerings from the STITCH Golf polo shirt collection and well as their top 3/4 pullover. Needless to say, their apparel is top-of-the-line and we are very impressed with the quality and styling of their shirts.

STITCH is really well-known for their best-in-class customizable carry golf bags, such as the STITCH SL2 Golf Bag.

However, STITCH Golf also offers a line of incredible golf apparel. The quality of their Polo shirts & Pullovers rival (and exceed) any of the premium brands out there. Let’s take a closer look at what makes them so great!

I have personally worn golf shirts from a lot of the top brands (Peter Millar, Travis Mathew, etc..) as well as more common brands such as Adidas, Puma, and Nike.

In my opinion, STITCH makes the best designed polo shirt. I give STITCH the nod because of their innovative under-button collar (more on that later).

How do STITCH Golf Polos Fit?

When it comes to fit, STITCH Golf Polos are spot on. The polos are designed to be comfortable and allow for easy movement during the swing, without feeling too baggy or restrictive. I really like how they fit and the shirts are super comfortable.

The Best Collar In Golf

They use a feature called “under-button” in which there is a hidden button and loop under each side of the collar. This keeps the shape of the collar and does not allow it to stretch out.

This is my favorite feature of their polo shirts and why I consider them to be the best on the market. After wearing STITCH, I am definitely converted to their under-button collars. As you can see, they look really sharp & professional.

The collar is the most visible part of a golf polo shirt that shows what kind of quality it is. When a collar loses its shape, it just looks cheap & sloppy.

STITCH Golf Polos will not do that though due to their innovative design! This is a really clever feature that translates into a polished look.

Made To Move 

Playing golf requires a wide range of movement, and STITCH Polos are made to accommodate that. They are designed with 4-way stretch fabrics that allow for easy movement during the swing without feeling restrictive. So you can focus on your swing without any distractions.

I felt no restriction at all while swinging in these shirts.

Their polos also feature moisture-wicking fabric & antimicrobial technology. Which means they are breathable and will keep smelling fresh even in hot playing conditions.

In addition, their polos offer quick dry which means you will be good to head out for dinner after 18 without having to sit around in a damp shirt.

Protection From The Sun (UPF 50)

STITCH Polos offer UPF 50 on each shirt & their pullovers. The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of a fabric measures how much UV radiation from the sun can penetrate through it. A higher UPF number means more protection. 

For instance, a fabric rated UPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB and UVA rays. This greatly reduces your skin’s exposure to harmful ultraviolet radiation compared to wearing an unrated fabric. So the higher the UPF, the lower the UV exposure risk for the wearer.

Hudson 1/4 Zip Pullover – The Perfect Fit

I also ordered the Hudson 1/4 Zip Pullover. I use a pullover whenever golfing in the spring & fall where I live. The Hudson is a really nice pullover and is used as a mid-weight layer.

I actually don’t like wearing anything other than a polo shirt when I golf. However, STITCH made the Hudson Pullover to feel like a second skin.

The most important feature for me is that the sleeves by my forearms and wrist fit very snug. I don’t want the sleeves flapping around while trying to hit a shot or putting as it is very distracting.

It also has a really cool STITCH icon on the left sleeve and their logo on the back of the collar. It is understated, yet very modern in its looks. 

And they use their 4-way stretch material so it is so easy to swing–you don’t even notice you are wearing it! The bottom of it is banded meaning it has stitching with stretch material so it fits really well.

I compared this to another 1/4 zip pullover I had and I can see the quality in the STITCH pullover. It looks like it is tailored vs. a loose and non uniform look in my older pullover. It is definitely a premium pullover.

When reviewing the STITCH Golf Polos, there were several features that stood out and impressed us.

But the standout feature (as mentioned above) is the under-button collar. I never realized how good a golf polo shirt collar could look until I got a STITCH Polo. I have been converted to STITCH!
